Meet the DeAquinos

Our Story

Michael and Angela have over 25 years of combined experience in ministry, with a strong focus on youth and family. Michael graduated from Harding University with a degree in Youth and Family Ministry, and Angela holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. From 2007 to 2022, they were involved in full-time ministry, serving in both Cincinnati and Denver. Through their work with youth, they witnessed the challenges many young people faced in developing deep, lasting faith. This experience led them to recognize an opportunity—what if churches could better support the next generation by equipping parents early on, before their children even reached the teenage years? Inspired by this vision, they developed their pre-parental counseling workbook to help young parents lay a strong foundation and to empower churches to better support families from the start. This ministry was born not from a feeling of being qualified, but from a strong calling they received from God.  

About US

We were both raised in the Midwest and now live in Denver, where we enjoy the mountains, low humidity, and sunny days. Along with our five children, we love spending time outdoors—hiking, fishing, camping, playing pickleball, and cycling. We embrace a slow lifestyle and enjoy hanging out in our neighborhood, spending time with neighbors and friends. Being close to our extended family is also a blessing we deeply value, and we make it a priority to nurture those relationships. Life for us is about building connections, creating memories, and living with purpose.

Michael loves anything that involves competition, deep talks about life, reading books, and spending time with family and friends.

Angela is a minimalist and loves home-making, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. 

They are proud parents to one adventurous boy, four lively girls and a playful Vizsla who keeps everyone on their toes!
